  Tourist places in the world have been referred to as travel destinations, a place to visit. Tourist destinations often serve as cultural icons of national or international customs and traditions. They are usually home to some kind of attraction or have something distinctive about them which defines their culture.


 The most visited countries in the world are France, Spain, the USA, China, etc. These countries have some famous tourist places for the tourists. Some of them are the Eiffel Tower in Paris; The Statue of Liberty in New York City; the Great Wall of China and the Yellowstone National Park in the US.

There are also remains from Phoenician-Punic times (900-450BC) to more recent periods when Mauretania Tingitana was a Roman province (27BC-6AD).
